INVOLVEMENT

- I volunteered at KC Fashion Week where I was able to work backstage.

- I assisted designers with anything they needed.

- Organized any arrangements that were requested.

- KC Bra Couture is a fundraiser to provide cancer services to uninsured/underinsured women, men, and children in the greater Kansas City area

- I participated in this fundraiser by making a corset top from scratch for the KC Bra Couture 2022 Silent Auction.

- Worked with peers to host events focusing on fashion.

- During meetings we would work on creative projects like DIYs.

- Worked on the FBA fashion week that included its own fashion show.

- Sewed scrunchies that were sold at the local holiday market

- I learned about the manufacturing side of the fashion industry
